I began studying Shiatsu just after the birth of my first child and practised and received shiatsu throughout my second pregnancy. My experience encouraged me to go on to specialise in pregnancy and childbirth.

"My husband and I have been trying to fall pregnant for 10 years. It was important that we only sort natural therapies on our journey. I had quite severe Endometriosis, Cysts, Estrogen Dominance and all that it comes with. We found Ria Butler and from the moment we met, the holistic 'relationship' clicked. Ria cared about the whole picture and continued to research for ways to help us through Shiatsu and hot compresses, advice and stretches. She was always so friendly and open, listened but never dwelled. It was a healing environment to be in and Ria was more than happy to work with our natural approach to infertility.
Well we are now proud as punch to announce we are 3 months Pregnant and we have no doubt that Ria helped us reach this point. We have used and tried many things along the way but what we learnt through Ria to help my body heal, clear blocks and break down scar tissue has made a tremendous difference...and for that we are so grateful. Thank you Ria." –

"I remember walking into Ria's treatment room for the first session - and I was beside myself with stress. I couldn't cope anymore and my husband and I had been at loggerheads for weeks. However an hour later I walked out refocused/ reenergised and feeling back to myself. I can't describe it - but she worked with my body to make it work for me. Each time I went both the baby and I left in a much healthier and calmer state... and as a result my husband is a massive fan of her work!!!
Give it a go - I would put Ria into the top 5 of 'what you need to survive a pregnancy' list.
We now have a healthy baby girl - Poppy - who constantly gets comments about how happy and chilled out she is. Ria has definatly had a part to play in this... thank you so much Ria!!!! xx"
